Vadiúj kislemez BETWIXT horizonton! Sway című, önálló, négy számos EP-vel debütál elektronikus zenei műhelyünk oszlopos tagja, BRSK!

BRSK 2014-es indulásunk óta alapemberünk, aki a DJ fellépések mellett 2017-ben a zeneírást is kóstolgatni kezdte. Elmondása szerint az autodidakta tanuláson túl képzettséget és szemléletet tekintve is óriási hatással volt rá a budapesti imPro School zenei producer képzése, amit 2018 tavaszán fejezett be. Neve feltűnt mindhárom eddigi válogatáslemezünkön, illetve például az ELEVATED brigád idei év elején megjelent House Arrest kiadványán is.

Első kislemezével a dallamos future beats és a pimasz groove-okkal megszórt, laza house zsánerei között kalandozik. A Sway ‘Taste’ című nyitódala letisztult szintikkel és finom textúrákkal operál. Folytatásként a ‘Do It Again’ house-osabbra veszi a figurát, funk elemeket is felvonultatva. A ‘Free Churro’ tovább terel a táncparkett irányába - némi melankolikus felhangot is csempészve a képletbe, a ‘4U’ pedig fülbeszászó vokálfoszlányokkal ad kerek lezárást a közel negyed órás anyagnak.

A Swayt leginkább az erőteljes bólogatást előidéző, swingre fókuszáló, természetes mintákkal operáló dobképletek és a nyárias, hátradőlős atmoszféra fogják össze, ezek a vonások mind a négy számra jellemzőek.

Brand new BETWIXT release on the horizon! BRSK makes his debut from our workshop with the 4-track-EP titled Sway!

BRSK has been a core member since 2014 - the beginnings - and on top of the DJ gigs he began writing music as well. He started out on an autodidactic path but says that the music producer course of Budapest-based imPro School he finished in the Spring of 2018 influenced him greatly in terms of qualification and perspective. He should be familiar from the compilation albums or from the House Arrest release of the ELEVATED brigade.

The first EP roams in the realms of melodic future beats and sassy, groovy laidback house genres. The opening track ‘Taste’ operates with clear synths and smooth textures. ‘Do It Again’ takes a housey-turn while displaying funk elements. Then ‘Free Churro’ continues to guide towards the dance floor all the while dealing a little bit of melancholy in the formula. Lastly ‘4U’ frames the quarter hour release with some catchy vocal samples.

Sway is held together mainly by nod inducing, swing focused, natural-feeling drum patterns and a perfect summery, laidback atmosphere, these are true for all four tracks.
